Was there a character on Eight is Enough named Kenny P. Landers? Wasn't he a friend on Nicholas'? I couldn't find even a mention of him on the site, not even in the place that mentions all the randoms who ever appeared on the show. Did we never see Kenny P on the show? I remember Irving J Moore but that's not who I'm thinking of. If anyone has any info on Kenny P Landers , I would appreciate it.
Im pretty positive Kenny P never actually appeared in the show, he was just talked about.
I agree with you Amy--the mysterious Kenny P. never actually appeared.
On that subject--I think it is pretty far fetched to expect Nicholas to call his friends by their full name : Irving J. Moore, Kenny P. Landers. My children NEVER have done that with any of their friends !
I agree--it's some writer's idea of "cute." There was somebody associated with the show named Irving J. Moore that you see in the credits, and using a name like this is a pretty common inside joke among TV shows. Like most TV situations, some of the things that happen are pretty far-fetched. Everybody running outside to make the family pyramid was cute once, but after seeing it hundred of times it just seems dumb. They all act like they're so excited about it. Puh-leeze!
Funny, I was thinking the same thing not long ago. And speaking of Irving J. Moore, I think that's also the name of a director or producer or something on the show. I noticed it in the credits one day.
I think it's more interesting when they just talk about a character and they don't show who he is.Like Phyllis's husband on The Mary Tyler Moore Show.It makes it more interesting.
What about Carlton, the doorman, and Tim Allen's next door neighbor?
Actually Irving'n name wasn't a coincidence he was named after the producer. I remember the name Kenny P Landers, but as all of you, I don't remember ever seeing him.. But we did eventually get to see Wilson (Tim Allen's neighbor) & Carlton the doorman (voice of Garfield the cat). I also don't remember ever seeing Lars or Maris
