Im new here, so sorry if this is old news. At the start of the "2nd" season opening, the family comes out of the house and builds a human pyramid. As soon as Tom and Abby got married, Abby mysteriously showed up coming out of the house with everyone else when she was not there before, and everyone looks the same, so I guess they filmed two knowing she was going to be on the show, but who knows...
they probably inserted her with technology into the group. Did you notice that Abby has a piece of grass sticking out of her mouth in the opening credits when she is kneeling on the ground?
They filmed two openings, one with Tom and the family and another with Abby. Even if there had been the technology to insert Betty into the first opening, I doubt that the show's budget would have allowed it! Yeah, I noticed Betty's straw.
I think the producers knew in advance that Abby was joining the family. She appeared in the second season's premiere episode. They must have shot 2 versions of the theme that day. And, by the way, I've always wondered if that was a piece of hay hanging out of her mouth or a mark on the film!!! Thanks for the clarification!!!
I love Abby's piece of grass in her mouth... it reminds me of how "texas" Betty really is, totally Ft. Worth.
You've gotta admit, quite a bit of weight falls on Abby when she rolls over and the pyramid collapses! I watched closely tonight and wondered if she volunteered for that position or was just assigned it. Also, have you noticed on the Abby version, how Nicholas never quite makes it to the top and when they show him he's barely holding onto Elizabeth?
I wonder if anyone got hurt when they fell.
Did anyone notice how fast and hard Nicholas falls on the opening credits. Major face plant!!!!!
