The Greek poet Aristophanes once theorized about the quest of love. He said that in creation, humans were created as one being, half man, half woman. At birth these two halves were separated, torn apart and placed in separate wombs, and from that time of birth, these torn halves searched for each other. That is the quest of love, and when the quest is over and love has been found, there is a marriage, the joining again of these two halves into one whole being.
Here today we witness this holy reunion. David and Janet. Susan and Merle. You may say your vows now....

"I hope fans of Eight is Enough will seek out a new trade paperback that I caught at a Barnes & Noble; it comprises wedding events from popular TV shows going back to the fifties.
Not only does the "I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do" episode get a feature, but our gang made the book's cover. Grant Goodeve, Joan Prather, Brian Patrick Clarke, Susan Richardson and Adam Rich grace the photo.
