By age 13 she had begun her acting career, voicing a character in the CBS animated special "Why, Charlie Brown, Why?" in 1990.
During her acting career, Lindsay made six appearrances on The Wonder Years as Alice Pedermeir. She also guested in Dharma & Greg, Working (with Fred Savage she worked with during the Wonder Years), Promised Land, Mr. Rhodes as a regular, and My So-Called Life before working as a regular in Sabrina.
Afterwards, she made two appearrances on That 70s Show, one on The West Wing, and others before joining the cast of Grosse Pointe as actress Marcy Sternfeld, a character who played Kim Peterson on the fictuous show being produced within the show.
After the series was cancelled, she did more appearrances including one for Greg The Bunny and three for Going to California. She did six episodes of The Stones, and in 2006, was in the short-lived series Help Me Help You.
Sloane's theater experience includes "Emperor's New Clothes, " "Say Yo Ho Ho", "Rumors" and "Cabaret".
She was the maid of Honor at wedding of Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr..
